Kitchen Spray Painting Dublin

How the spraying itself is actually done.

Kitchen spray painting in Dublin costs €700 to €3000 and takes 1 to 3 days. The kitchen is sprayed in place using a fine finish spray system inside a sealed and extracted working area, over a bonding primer chosen for the door material, finishing in two coats of hard wearing cabinet coating.

The equipment and why it matters

A fine finish spray system atomises the coating into a very fine mist, which is what produces the smooth, even film. A cheap sprayer leaves texture, and a brush leaves marks.

The working area is sealed with sheeting, the rest of the house is protected and extraction runs while we spray, so overspray stays in the one room.

The coatings used

Primer choice depends entirely on the door. Timber, MDF, laminate, vinyl wrap and high gloss each need a different bonding primer, and using the wrong one is the single most common reason a sprayed kitchen peels later.

Top coats are water based cabinet coatings, low odour and fast drying, available in matt, satin or gloss.

Dust, smell and living with the job

Sanding dust is controlled at source and the sprayed coatings are water based, so the smell is mild and clears quickly with ventilation. Most families stay in the house throughout, including with children and pets in other rooms.
