Does a respray really look as good as the photos?

A sprayed finish has no brush or roller marks, which is what makes it look like factory joinery rather than painted doors. The photos in our gallery are all our own completed Dublin kitchens.

Do the worktops change too?

Only if you ask for it. Worktops can be sprayed in a stone effect at the same visit, otherwise they stay exactly as they are.

How much does the change in those photos cost?

Most kitchens are €700 to €3000 depending on the number of doors and drawers, finished in one to three days.

Can I see a sample before I commit?

Yes. We bring sample doors in the colour you are considering so you can see it in your own kitchen light.

What actually changes between the before shot and the after shot.

In a genuine before and after, the layout, worktops and appliances are identical and only the colour and finish of the doors and panels change. That is what a respray does: the units stay, the colour goes from dated oak, beech or cream to the shade you chose, and the finish is smooth with no brush marks.

What changes in the after photo

Doors, drawer fronts, end panels, plinths and cornices all carry the new colour. Handles are often changed at the same time, which is a small cost that makes a large difference to how modern the kitchen reads.

Many kitchens go two tone, with a darker island or base units and lighter wall units. There is no extra charge for a second colour.

How to judge the photos you are shown

Look for the same angle and similar light in both shots. A before taken in gloom next to an after taken with lamps on tells you about the lighting, not the work.

Look at edges and corners rather than the middle of the doors. That is where poor preparation shows first, as a thin or rough line where the coating meets the frame.
