How to Clean a Sprayed Kitchen
Two minutes of aftercare that adds years to the finish.
Clean a sprayed kitchen with a soft cloth and mild soapy water. Avoid abrasive creams, scouring pads, bleach and solvent based cleaners, all of which dull or cut into a cabinet coating. Wipe spills when they happen rather than letting them sit.
What to use
Warm water with a little washing up liquid on a soft microfibre cloth handles everything a kitchen throws at a door.
Dry the surface afterwards rather than letting water sit along the bottom edge of a door, which is where moisture does the most harm over time.
What to avoid
Cream cleaners and scouring pads are abrasive. They will polish a dull patch into a satin door and cut through the coating at an edge.
Bleach and solvent cleaners attack the coating chemically. Neither is needed on a cabinet door.

The high wear points
The bin door, the drawer beside the hob and the door behind the kettle collect the most grease and steam. A regular wipe there keeps everything else easy.
Move a kettle or rice cooker so its steam is not venting straight onto a door face.
