Kitchen Respray Colour Trends for Irish Homes

Sage, warm off white, navy, charcoal and two tone kitchens. What people are actually choosing, and why.

Kitchen Respray Colour Trends for Irish Homes

Trends matter less than living with a colour for ten years, but they are a useful starting point. These are the shades coming up again and again in Irish homes at the moment.

Sage and muted green

Still the most requested colour we spray. Soft greens sit naturally beside oak floors, brass handles and stone worktops, and they feel calm rather than loud in a busy room.

Warm off white and cream

The reliable choice for north facing kitchens and smaller rooms. Warm off whites keep the light without the clinical feel of a bright brilliant white, and they let a worktop or splashback do the talking.

Navy and deep blue

Strong, classic and very forgiving on lower units where knocks and marks happen. Pairs well with light worktops and warm metal handles.

Charcoal and graphite

For kitchens with plenty of natural light, a dark grey gives a modern, architectural look. Balance it with a lighter wall colour and open shelving so the room does not close in.

Two tone kitchens

Darker below, lighter above, or a contrasting island, remains the easiest way to get depth without committing the whole room to a strong colour. It also lets two people who disagree both get their way.
